LOCATION

Generally:
To get from the city of Schladming to the Dachstein glacier, first take the road up to Ramsau am Dachstein and from there to the bottom station of the glacier-cableway. There is a toll charge for the road from Ramsau to the bottom station which you don't have to pay if you buy a skipass and show it to them when driving back down to Ramsau.
From the west:
Munich - Salzburg (90 km) - Tauern freeway - Ennstal junction - Ennstal B 320 regional highway - Schladming.
From the east:
Vienna - Semmering - Leoben - Liezen - Ennstal B 320 regional highway - Schladming.
From the south-west:
Graz - Pyhrn freeway - Liezen - Ennstal B 320 regional highway - Schladming.
From the south:
Villach - Tauern freeway Ennstal Junction - Ennstal B 320 regional highway - Schladming.

Schladming is located at the international trail:
Salzburg - Bischofshofen - Schladming - Selzthal - Bruck – Graz
Connections:
Via Selzthal to Linz or via Bischofshofen to Innsbruck or Villach.
