„Since its beginning, the Pleasure Jam has been such a special contest for me. There I won my first „best rookie“ and I got my first shot in a mag. So I was really stoked when I won the „best trick“ last year. Hopefully I can go on with that performance. Who knows, maybe the Jam will be a 5* contest one day – that would be sick! „I really had a super fun time riding at Pleasure Jam. A lot of big names participated too and it was a huge motivation riding among those guys! I still remember that the park was very good and I was amazed that you have been able to build such a good park so early in the season. „When I was there for my first time in the year 2008 everything was so well organized, it felt at once familiar. The set-up was great, in a perfect shape and the jumps were safe. I really think that the Pleasure Jam is an important contest for Europe, especially for the girls, who want to take the next step, because the media is interested in that contest. So it’s very important for all the girls to take photos and get footage. „Uhm, honestly I don’t know how many times I’ve been at the event, sometimes I went there just for the party. Obviously the Pleasure Jam has evolved from a pure Jam to a big 4* event with big names and a lot of prize money to win. But anyway, it still has its HAVING FUN character ant that’s what I love. Furthermore it’s great to see how many girls get up there, I really hope they will come there in the future as well. „For me the Pleasure Jam is always a fixed season opener. I’ve been there four times and it was damn good every single time. The park was sick with its triple kicker line, I loved it! “2009 was the first time for me at the Pleasure Jam. It was such a good start into the season, riding with all your friends and getting a feeling for the snow the first time after the summer break. Unfortunately I caught the swine flu the week before when I already had come to Schladming and I just started to feel better on the contest day, so I didn’t really feel like going to the parties afterwards. The park was perfect though, all those three jumps in a row – the QParks crew did an amazing job in making that course. To me, the Pleasure Jam is a great opportunity to get together with everyone, especially friends I haven’t seen all summer. All in all, the Jam’s simply a laid-back session at the beginning of the season and the Dachstein’s just a great location. It gets to me every time I get off the cable car in the morning and the first thing I see is the stunning scenery and the perfectly shaped park – that combination makes everyone wear a huge grin when they come down from the mountain in the evening.It’s an environment in which you just have to be in a good mood, even if you screwed up in the contest! “I love the O’Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel! It’s the first contest of the season, everyone has just come back from the summer break and is eager to get back on the board again. The atmosphere is incredible, the contest bursts with highly talented riders, the event crew does a great job and really knows how to throw sick parties!
