O’Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel!

The final day of the 10th anniversary edition of the O’Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel saw some massive park action today! Despite the rough winds, the mood was blazingly hot at the Dachstein glacier as the finalists impressed with sick tricks and massive airtime! Last year’s champion Aimee Fuller confidently defended her title this year, and Eric Beauchemin from the US secured the first place at the men’s category, followed by Werner Stock and Jamie Nicholls.

Today it got serious for the contestants of the O'Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel: 60 male rider and 20 females took up the challenge and joined on the Dachstein to qualify for the finals. The best 8 girls and the best 18 guys made it to the finals. The performed tricks were on a very high level -so don't miss out on the tomorrow’s finals, when the best riders of the qualification will battle against the invited riders.

Girls, listen up!! From 16th to 22nd january 2013 the Red Bull Nanshan Open is entering it’s 11th episode. For the first time in history the chinese event includes a women slopestyle contest limited to 6 female riders.

Only 4 days left until world’s best snowboarders will battle for the title of this year’s O’Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel. Despite the bad snow conditions our shape crew is up at the Dachstein since the last days and spared neither expense nor effort to build up the contest and public park setup for the following contest weekend!

Like the last years the judges of the O’Neill Pleasure Jam powered by Opel will cast an eye on the “Best Trick” in both categories, men and ladies. Due to the finals on Saturday all riders have the chance to show their sickest trick in the style run as well as in the technical run to win a three-week surftrip to Bali/Indonesia with a total value of EUR 2000,-.
