DRAMA and GLORY! Under brazenly perfect weather conditions, the international freestyle community celebrated the ninth edition of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam in the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein – one of the best ones ever! At an unprecedented level, the snowboard elite was battling for the victory of this TTR 4 star contest in the perfectly shaped park. After a two day trick fireworks, the Belgian Seppe Smits and Aimee Fuller from Great Britain were smiling down from the top of the podium as winners of the Super Finals. The only 19-year old Matthias Weißenbacher caused a sensation in reaching the third rank!

We met the winners Seppe Smits (BEL), Aimee Fuller (GRB) and Austrian local Mathias Weißenbacher for an interview at the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam 2011.

The Balicamp Best Trick Awards for those riders blowing the minds of both the audience and the judges with the sickest trick have long since been established as a kind of tradition at the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam. This year, Sheryl Maas from the Netherlands and Sven Thorgren from Sweden can look forward to a trip to the infamous Balicamp!

After qualifications that were nothing short of thrilling, today the aspiring riders matched themselves with the invited superstars! Just like the days before, the weather was as nice as it gets and thus the crowd witnessed one massive trick after another in the Superfinals. In the end, the contest proved to have a few surprises in store, making the grand finish of the 9th Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam above all very emotional.

Another sunny day has passed in the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein, and thus the qualification for the 9th Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam. After the energetic training yesterday, the heat was on in today’s qualification at an incredibly high level! The once again perfectly shaped park, flawless weather conditions and breathtaking battles made it an unforgettable day for riders as well as for the audience. After this action-packed day, the top 20 male and the top 7 female riders are celebrating their proceeding into tomorrow’s finals!

The freestyle sun has risen again! We had to wait for an eternity of a whole year but now it is finally on again: the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam! For the ninth time, the Jam will rock the Dachstein and appropriately sound the bell for the new season. Hot battles, cool beats and off-the-hook parties – this event is something really special and in every respect promotes the freestyle spirit! Today’s training day already foreshadowed the freestyle ecstasy we’re about to witness in these following days!

The ninth edition of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam is about to turn the beautiful Dachstein into a freestyle hotspot at its best and apart from the preparations running at full blast, the Riders Voting made for a nail-biting finale. Amongst all riders who entered the qualification, the two winners have finally emerged!

At the upcoming Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam 2011, there will be yet another cool raffle directly on site for all dwarf lovers out there! Sharpen your edges and wax your snowboards – it is about to happen: The Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam and hence the official contest kick-off of the new freestyle season 2011 is just around the corner. In a couple of days, Schladming at the Dachstein will turn again into the Mecca of the international snowboard scene, when from November 11th to 13th the elite of pro athletes with big names like Torstein Horgmo, Marko Grilc, Seppe Smits or Sage Kotsenburg among them, will battle for podium places at the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein. Besides the TTR 4 Star competition, the 9th edition of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam is also the first waypoint of the QParks Snowboard Tour, which will cause a hell of excitement also in season 2011/2012!
