For its 14th edition, the Pleasure Jam will return to Dachstein glacier – the proline at Superpark Dachstein will host the first stop of the QParks Tour and the European start of the World Snowboard Tour 2016. The region of Schladming-Dachstein provides the best conditions for the double kick-off: this year again, the glacier park will present a contest setup that will guarantee a thrilling battle for points and prizes.
On Friday, November 18, all participants will get the chance to test the slopestyle setup during the open training session. The serious business will then follow on Saturday when both the qualification and finals will go down on the infamous triple kicker line. There we’ll see who is going to step in the footsteps of last year’s winners Keita Inamura (JAP) and Katie Ormerod (GBR), collecting important points for the World Snowboarding Points List. Among a long line of the world’s finest riders on the starting list, the Austrian Anna Gasser is a definite aspirant for the women’s title – check out who will join her in the starting field here.
Whoever will eventually step onto the podium of the Pleasure Jam 2016 will get a share of prizes summing up to a total of USD 20.000. Afterwards, at the bottom station of the Dachstein gondola the riders and fans will get together and finish off the contest properly with drinks and chatters.
