Saturday the 12th of november was the big day: The Powerade Pleasure Jam Pro-Contest rocked the Dachstein-Glacier! 22 qualifiers got in the ring with 25 of the worlds best snowboarders like Marc-André Tarte, David Benedek or Stefan Gimpl. And - once again - the glacier showed itselfs best side: Sunshine!

At 10:30 the pro-contest started. The landing of the big kicker was a bit hard and some riders were unlucky with the wind. Not everybody moved on the personal limit - many favored riding an easy session. But that does not meen, that the jamsession didn't deliver a good deal of really hard action!![]()

One woman and one men made their ambitions very clear throughout the jamsession: Cheryl Maas and Nicky Wieveg.
Nicky - who fought his way from the qualification-heats (he won the qualification...) into the pro-contest - showed a style and motivation that made clear, he was really going for the trophy. No doubt! Cheryl did it the same way: Big, scary 360 for warm-up... All the girls (and riders in general) were really brave. But same as Nicky Cheryl made her victory very clear!
